July 26, 1832

My first errand on the morning of 26 July was across the street to a young efficient doctor, living here who also has the pharmacy. For some time I had not felt entirely well, and now I wanted to cure my ailment. Dr. Staud is a pleasant young man who is said to have a flourishing practice. He gave me some medicine that kept me home until that afternoon.
