In the morning, clear, cold. At eight o’clock, 16°F [−8.9°C]. Light wind [out of the] northeast. They believed [that] the river would soon break open. Old Addíh-Hiddísch was drawn. It snowed intermittently all day long. At noon, 34°F [1.1°C]. Wind southwest. I [treated the foot with heat and] sage but in the evening did not repeat it. Evening clear, not very cold.
