April 12, 1834

Clear this morning, [with a] strong south wind. [At] seven thirty, 64°F [17.8°C]. Mató-Tópe was drawn full-figure. At twelve o’clock, 72°F [22.2°C]. Southeast wind in the afternoon, too. The people [we] expected from Fort Union could not travel because of the storm.
