In the morning, gray sky, rain. At seven thirty, 44°F [6.7°C]. Later, clear sky, wind. The [drawing of the] Cree was completed. The Indian war party still remained here. In the afternoon, pleasant weather. After noon Mr. Campbell paid us a visit and stayed late, and we talked [at length] about travels to the mountains. [Our] boat was finished today.
